The leachate and the organic phase are transported here and come into full contact in the mixing chamber, allowing copper ions to transfer from the leachate to the organic phase. Subsequently, the two phases are rapidly separated in the clarification chamber, providing a copper-loaded organic phase for subsequent processing.

          The back-extraction section also employs a mixing and clarification tank. The copper-loaded organic phase and the rich electrolyte meet here, and through mixing, copper ions are returned from the organic phase to the rich electrolyte. After clarification and separation, a lean organic phase and a copper-rich solution are obtained for subsequent electrowinning processes.

          Auxiliary systems are indispensable in the copper extraction process.
